The leaf with the teardrop reflects both intense suffering of loss and hope for the future. Though fallen, the leaf maintains its vitality symbolizing hope. It cradles the teardrop with its upturned edges creating a sense of comfort. As seasons change, so do feelings. Just as there is winter and spring, there is sadness and hope.
Her little foot
It's hard to see amongst all those hospital blankets but her foot is in the middle of the picture.
Her tiny hand
This picture is of my nurse in L&D holding up my precious angel's tiny hand.
A Lock of Hair
The hospital gave me a lock of her beautiful hair :o)
Her crib card
Even though Nevaeh never had a crib in the hospital they still gave her a crib card. And basically treated her like they would any living, breating baby.
Hospital booties
These are the booties that the hospital gave me. If you look closely you can see them in the picture of her foot.
Her Hospital Bracelet
If Nevaeh would have worn her hospital bracelet it would have been WAY too big for her. Her arms were soooo little.
Memory Box & Teddy Bear
This is the memory box and teddy bear that the hospital gave me. In the box is her lock of hair, booties, hospital bracelet, crib card, death certificate, and all the cards people gave me.
